# Double Cross

A crossword variant where each card carries two clues whose answers share a length, plus two matching slots in the grid. Which answer belongs in which slot is not stated, so crossing letters decide the arrangement. Sealing the grid checks every entry; mistakes cost one of four lamps, with letter reveals and a pair-filling almanac as aids.
